YOUTH GROUP

Our youth program for middle and high school students offers a variety of opportunities for Christian community, fellowship and spiritual formation.

When We Meet

We meet in the Upper Room at 10am on Sundays after the Contemporary Worship Service for our Christian formation time. A lectionary based curriculum, Living the Good News, is used to discuss and explore the weekly scripture readings. Several youth offer their gift of music with contemporary praise songs.
 

Sunday afternoons include many fun activities and various outreach projects. Be sure to take a look at the monthly calendar for details.
 

On Wednesday evenings during the school year, the Youth Group meets in Trimble Hall from 6:00 to 8:30pm. We begin with dinner and fellowship followed by a program at 7:00pm which includes a variety of discussions, activities and guests on topics relating to the Christian teenager’s life.
 

There are many other events throughout the year such as the annual ski trip, camping trips, concerts, mission trips, fundraisers and retreats.  Youth group members are actively involved in diocesan, provincial and national church events including Happening, New Beginnings, Provincial Youth Events (PYE) and Episcopal Youth Events (EYE).
